How to Make Basic Japanese Curry

Ingredients (2 servings)

  • 4 tbsp Curry Powder Mix
  • ½ potato
  • ā…” onion
  • ¼ carrot
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  1. Ā Cut the vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat. SautĆ© the onion until softened, then add the potato and carrot and cook for another 2–3 minutes.
  3. Add 150 ml of water and simmer until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Turn off the heat, dissolve this product in another jug or cup with 150 ml of water, add to the pot, and mix well.Ā 
  5. Return the pot to the heat and bring to a gentle boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 7–10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
